I've always wondered why humans yawn. The accepted hypothesis was that we yawn when we're tired, but I often yawn after I wake up....it just didn't make sense. New research suggest that we do not yawn as a result of being tired, and the article is pretty interesting (if you're a nerd like me...). Enjoy :)
